Stay mobile and connected – Social Support

Home Nursing Group can assist you to stay connected to your community, friends and family.

Social support could involve a casual home visit, heading out for a coffee with one of our friendly staff, getting you to appointments, or transporting you to your favourite weekly activity.

Home Nursing Group offers a wide range of services to connect you with the people and activities you love.

A lack of social support can lead to negative impacts on health and well-being, especially for older people. Having a variety of positive social connections and active pursuits contributes to psychological wellness, reduces stress and increases physical health.

Home Nursing Group provides assistance with:

  • Social visits to your home
  • Outings for coffees or lunches
  • Transportation for weekly shopping and appointments
  • Help with finding local activity groups and recreational activities

With our passion for people, Home Nursing Group are here to help you lead a happy and independent life.

Social Support may be available under the Commonwealth Home Support Programme, a Home Care Package, or for self-funded clients.

Fees and charges vary dependant on a range of factors including, your aged care eligibility, the type of service and the government funding available to you. Home Nursing Group fees are increased annually in line with the Government subsidy increase. Please call us for detailed information on our pricing or visit the Healthcare Australia website.

“I truly appreciate all that Home Nursing Group do for me and I couldn’t manage without their support services”.
