Jacaranda Social Club

The Jacaranda Social Club offers a variety of program activities that are designed to promote positive interaction and to meet our clients’ needs.

Positive outcomes are achieved by focusing on the clients’ strengths more than their limitations, therefore increasing levels of engagements and active participation. The club aims to strengthen community bonds and provide fun opportunities for our local citizens, with activities including coffee catch-ups, pottery and ceramics classes, creative arts programs, musical entertainment, bus outings, gardening, local history talks, ‘Mind, Body and Balance’ exercise classes, drumming, choir, and more.

Pricing

The Jacaranda Social Club will be charged $7.50 for the entire session on the Wednesday Group, Thursday Group, Friday Group and Tuesday Men’s Group.

The Jacaranda Social Club will be charged $3.75 for the entire session on the Tuesday Choir group.

Eligibility

Members must live in the local community of Armidale, Uralla, Guyra and Walcha region. Programs are offered to people over the age of 65 or people from the ATSI community over 50 years of age. Members will be required to complete an assessment to be registered with the program.
